Despite being banned from radio and television the duo achieved great success and a cult status, but the act broke up one of the greatest comedy partnerships of recent years. First it was a pilot presentation, then it was made into a pilot for HBO but never aired. It went to the Sundance Film Festival,South by Southwest Film Festival,and many other film festivals its also featured on the WHOLPHIN dvd's. It's a simple show just about Derek, Simon, and their friends, and all their problems with women.

Derek and Cameron is the love story of an unconventional gay couple and their extended friends and families. Cameron has been out and proud since he was 15, while Derek never experienced any trace of gay attraction before he met Cameron at age 26.

Two adolescents, Sauly and Mick, get to know each other while hitchhiking and stick together for the long haul. They both want to reach the ocean, which is some thousand kilometers away. An old car picks them up, but the trip ends shortly thereafter in a sleazy motel. At the bar, a man named Landolfi approaches them. He explains to Sauly that he must have sold his guardian angel to a man by the name of Miller in the city of Prince. Though the boys do not believe in guardian angels, Sauly slowly succumbs to his own fears. He would like to have his guardian angel back again. On their trip, Sauly becomes sick. Mick works on a farm to pay the doctor's bills. Once Sauly is well, they travel farther - until they reach Prince. In this mysterious city, all of the people are named Miller, and once Sauly and Mick finally are at the ocean, they meet Landolfi once more.

Reali chooses the topics and gives each of the panelists, sports writers from major newspapers, a chance to share their opinion, giving them points based on point-of-view, style, and information. He also has a mute button for each participant which he uses to penalize and direct traffic. At the end of each round, the contestant with the lowest score is eliminated until only one remains.
